CONTROL4 SYSTEMS

Control 4 is the cornerstone of our control system. It is an industry leading platform and one of the most widely used systems in the UK. It has a comprehensive suite of hardware, with software that is well supported and updated in line with changes in technology. Control 4 is a network based system which allows the user to log in and control any function remotely. You may wish to turn on the heating, view your security cameras, or open the gate to accept a delivery.

HOME HUB SYSTEMS

A centralised hub to house all the equipment is essential for a Smart Home installation. In this space we position an equipment rack which houses networking gear, servers, audio-visual, CCTV and all equipment. The rack is laid out to allow good ventilation and to minimise signal interference. This contributes to the longevity of the equipment and makes for easy maintenance, upgrades and fault finding.

Our equipment racks are built in house and fully tested before shipping to site. Every cable is carefully run, labelled and secured, ensuring a clean professional installation, commensurate with best industry practice.

Wi-Fi & NETWORKING SYSTEMS

The backbone of a Smart Home must be a robust and reliable network, with a strong Wi-Fi that seamlessly connects to all your smart devices. Phones, iPads, laptops, entertainment devices, security and a multitude of other devices must have a smooth experience without lag or interruptions. We offer routers and networks suitable for large houses with multiple floors, extensions and where required the patio and garden. We design a network to meet the requirements of your home.

AUDIO DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

We consolidate your audio players in the AV rack allowing the distribution of your favourite music to all rooms of your home, a different song in each room, or all the same (party mode). Each room can play through speakers of your choice. Ceiling recess speakers, wall mount, free standing, or even plastered into the wall (completely unseen).

Don’t forget the garden and patio! The quality of external speakers can be exceptional, and they can play their own song, or be grouped to play the same as maybe the kitchen or lounge (gatherings and parties) Control can be via the universal remote, your phone or touch pad.

VIDEO DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

Why limit yourself to enjoying your favourite programs or movies in just one room. We consolidate your TV Set-top boxes and external streaming sources into the AV rack at the hub, allowing you to stream high-definition content to any room in your home without loss of quality or definition. Watch one program in more than one room or watch your favourite in your own room.

CONTROLLED LIGHTING SYSTEMS

Lighting isn’t just about brightness or dimming, its about setting the scene, the mood, enhancing productivity, improving security and not least, conserving energy. A cosy night in with the TV, a vibrant gathering, or a focussed work environment.

Designing the lighting plan is much more than the “Tech” of the lighting control. Selection of fittings is paramount. They may be free standing, wall wash, uplight/downlight, ceiling/wall recessed, or spot lights.
The best systems come from teamwork, which starts with the customers vission and requirements. Advice from your architect, interior designer and smart home installer will develop the full lighting plan.

BLINDS & CURTAINS AUTOMATION

Shades, blinds and curtains can all be simply controlled from your smart home control pad, phone or tablet. A local manual open/close switch can also be fitted.
Open and close times can be programmed for "Wake Up", "Bedtime", midday shading or any other sequence
There are energy savings to be enjoyed. Solar heat gain can be reduced in the summer and in cold weather curtains drawn provide an energy saving insulation barrier.
Automated, smooth drawing helps protect your fabrics from sticky fingers and over-enthusiastic pulling.

For Home Cinema rooms the curtains can be programmed into the one button-press startup sequence. Screen drops, projector and amplifiers turn on, window blinds close, lights dim and the film starts!

CCTV SYSTEMS

We are experienced installers of CCTV. We will conduct a full property survey and prepare a coverage plan for cameras, their positions, sensitivities and operation. The control equipment locates in the Home hub rack and can be controlled from any room by the touch controllers, phone or iPad.

It allows you whether home or away to view the cameras and set or reset alarm trips. The system can operate as a main line of defence, to the importance of knowing, and viewing, that your teenagers are safe home from school.

GATE ENTRY SYSTEMS

The added security of gate entry continues to grow and is a regular addition to Smart home installs. It provides the essential barrier to uninvited vehicles as well as uninvited visitors. However, with the increasing growth of home delivery, when away from home we need a means to allow trusted carriers to leave the parcel, secure within the grounds. The system allows you to receive the alert from the gate on your phone and to view and speak to the delivery man, then open the gate when deemed safe. It’s also good to allow entry for home helps, gardeners, pool maintenance etc.
The system signals to the majority of standard gates, roller or swing, with an easy use screen and link to a gate camera. It can be operated from any of the smart home house controls or your phone.

DOOR ENTRY SYSTEMS

We offer high security door entry systems, which integrate fully with the Control 4 in house controllers and CCTV cameras. They can be set to operate on your phone, allowing access when you are away. They will also record entry and exit times with separate entry code for each user.
