Music in every room electrical contractor

We have a strong and repeating relationship with many electrical contractors, both for domestic and commercial systems. Whether it’s a small request for audio, a major request for Smart home or a Commercial project, we are pleased to help. We discuss with both contractor and client the requirements, explain options and carry out a site survey. Working in close partnership provides assurance to the customer and contractor that all technical aspects of the project are supported.This leads to a detail proposal and quotation and if accepted we prepare a full schedule of wiring with marked up drawings. Electrical contractors generally prefer to pull all cable themselves at 1st fix, to our specification. At 2nd fix we attend site to terminate into wall plates and test. On larger projects requiring equipment racks, these are built and tested in house before shipping and installing on site. At an appropriate time in the project (generally end of 2nd fix) we attend site to fit all equipment. This is then fully tested and at the appropriate time handed over to the customer. We need the customer to feel comfortable with all aspects of operation and control and to know we are but a call away to help. Contractors like this partnership, they feel confident of our support and pleased to have recommended our services to their client. They also like to learn from us the technicalities of the equipment. It leads to the contractors becoming our friends and partners and they use us time and again.

ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTORS

Over the past 17 years Music in Every Room has built a strong relationship with Electrical Distributors. Our expertise has grown from small audio units into providing Cinema Rooms, Smart home and large Commercial audio systems. We request the Branch not to sit between us and the contractor, but to pass on the Contractor’s contact, enabling us to work closely with the contractor and fully uderstand the customer requirements. Most contractors will prefer to install all cabling, which we encourage, but is pleased to see the responsibility for the install and full testing, being carried by Music in every room. We develop a full and detail proposal, which is always quoted through the Distributor. Any job that is referred by a Distributor will without exception be quoted and invoiced through the Distributor. This trust makes available to the distributor all our technical expertise, providing the Branch with confidence on large technically complex work, to the benefit of Distributor, his contractor and ourselves. The success of these relationships sees Distributors using us time and again, they receive an enquiry and immediately link us to their contractor, confident we will strive with them and on their behalf to secure the business.

INTERIOR DESIGNERS

When your Interior Designer has created a bespoke, themed feel and atmosphere to your home, then woe betide placing a large, inappropriate colour, free standing piece of hardwear in the midst!
Music in every room believe that from the outset, its vital that we work with the Interior Designer, contractor and customer as a team. Then we can present not only the best technical solutions, but options that are in-keeping with the vission of the interior design. Close teamwork will ensure hardwear, lighting schemes and other technical products, fit with the design of the home.

Music in Every Room understands the requirements of M&E Consultants and Project Managers and the key is for discussions at the earliest possible time, including with the Electrical Contractor. We prepare a detail tender (where applicable), a detailed technical proposal, schedule of work & marked up drawings. We need to understand the timescales of the project, the build plan, entry locations for services and their projected live dates. Practical aspects of access for large items such as equipment racks and safe working requirements. Not least to provide flexibility to timescales, in line with the progress of the project. We will always provide a single point of contact and confirmation of discussions.
